As with all hot tubs, there is a cost involved to operate and maintain them. However, our hot tubs have lots of clever little tricks to keep running costs down and make them as efficient as possible. This includes a dedicated circulation pump that runs a lower amperage than a main jet pump on low speed. An insulated top cover, insulated cabinet and insulated floor and acrylic shell. In 2020 we tested the Cape Verde from April until June (12 weeks) in order to carefully calculate it’s running cost. After 12 weeks the average costs was just under £10 per week with an average use of 3 times a week. The cost of running a hot tub depends on a number of variables and we would happily answer any questions you might have over at our contact area.

We recommend leaving your hot tub turned on as much as possible. It is much more cost-effective and efficient to turn the heat down low rather than turning it off. Heating the hot tub if it has been off for a long period of time is time-consuming and ultimately more expensive. An additional benefit of keeping it turned on low is that it ensures the water is filtered and cleaner ready for your next use. However, if you are planning on not using it for a while or wanting a winder shut-down we offer this service. We can send a fully approved engineer to your home in order to completely drain the hot tub including the draining pipes. Clean down the hot tub and ensure that no water remains in the system. When we deliver your hot tub, we will go through everything you need to know and give you a setup demonstration. This will allow you to get familiar with your brand new hot tub and get you started. 13amp Hot Tubs are great because they allow you to plug into normal conventional plug sockets. However, the 32amp Hot Tubs require specific power supply upgrades that can only be done by a qualified electrician. While the 32amp Hot Tubs typically offer more performance and generally higher specification, it is because of this that they require more power. Please factor in the cost of having an electrician install a 32amp power supply at your home or business.
All of our 13amp hot tubs have a 2-speed pump and a 2kw heater. The heater will not work when the jets are on and visa versa. A 32amp hardwired hot tub will generally have a 3kw heater and at least one pump (up to 5 pumps) dependant on the model specification. The 32amp hot tubs need a separate isolator which would need to be installed by a trained and certified professional electrician.

The “standard” warranties vary on our hot tubs between 1 and 2 years. We do offer options to extend those tubs that come with a 1-year warranty to 2 years at point of sale. However, we strongly recommend you read our warranty terms and information here.

We do deliver outside of the UK mainland. However, this does change how the tubs must be paid for and delivery costs will be incurred. For those wanting delivery outside of UK Mainland please contact us before making your purchase.

Yes, our hot tubs can be installed either indoors or outdoors. However, there are a number of things to take in consideration when installing a hot tub indoors. Such as;

• Installation access
• Sufficient Ventilation
• Waterproof flooring
• Drainage

Before your hot tub is delivered you will need to make some preparations. Such as; Installing an appropriate electrical supply for your hot tub. The product pages list the maximum power supply for each tub. However, we will happily speak to you about this ahead of your purchase if you would like to check. Your electrician will need this information but will quite familiar and straight forward for a certified electrician. You will also need to create a solid base for the hot tub to stand on.

For the 32amp hot tubs, this is most certainly a job for a qualified electrician. We would highly recommend you only using a professional electrician. This a specialist job and especially as most hot tubs are outdoors (and full of water) is in critical the electrical work is suitable and safe.
However, our 13amp hot tubs, also known as “Plug and Play” can operate on a regular plug socket. We would always recommend someone familiar, experienced or qualified to sort the power supply out. But, a regular power supply from your home or business is sufficient. If in doubt please ask a local electrician to take a look and ensure everything is safe for you.

The great news is that hot tubs don’t need a permanent water supply. They’re filled and drained using a hosepipe. This means you shouldn’t need to install any additional plumbing at your home.

If your chosen hot tub is in stock, we can often deliver it in just two to three days. If it isn’t in stock, delivery will take 8 to 10 weeks. Please always get in touch to confirm the expected delivery dates.

If you choose our delivery and positioning service, we’ll use a special spa dolly to roll your new hot tub into place. We’ll give you a call shortly after you have placed your order, to talk through any access problems before we deliver. You’ll need an access space of between 1m and 1.2m, depending on your chosen hot tub. If you have less space than this, we may still be able to position your hot tub. We’ll call you shortly after you place your order to talk through any access problems before we deliver. In some cases, a crane will be needed to position the hot tub. Please contact us to discuss access if you have any concerns at all.

We can’t provide you with a crane but we can help you source one. Crane costs will vary from around £200 to £800, depending on factors such as the height of your house, the distance from kerbside to the hot tub’s final position, and the type of crane being used.
